Mkhulu Baba Radebe

Mkhulu Baba Radebe is the Zulu Elder Sangoma and spiritual grandfather to the spiritual lineage are initiated in as Sangoma’s, which is the lineage of the Lion. He lives in KwaZulu-Natal; he is 88 years old and still continuing his work as a Sangoma.

He was called to the Shaman Sangoma tradition when he was 14 years old and has worked as a Sangoma since that time. He is the spiritual father and Sangoma teacher of Makhosi Sarah Wager and initiated her in to his ancestral lineage as a Sangoma which to this day she carries and passes to her students.

Makhosi Baba Radebe’s knowledge of traditional Sangoma medicinal plants is extensive, especially the plants found in KwaZulu-Natal. He has a warm and strong heart and still attends ceremonies and encourages all peoples from the earth which he meets to work with their ancestors, to open their hearts and to realise that they are always guided by the ancestors.
