SAMIA BIRUANY

Samia Biruany is an artist musician and leader of Maia Ysa in the Pinuya Village, a group of women dedicated to strengthening the Huni Kuin culture by working closely with the Kupy Shamans and elders. She is the daughter of a prophet, Shane Hunikui and artisan Seya Yawanawa. She is a gifted musician and brings the feminine force of the forrest and her people.
